Circus Circus is a destination for families with kids. Hotel rooms are priced lower than most hotels on the Strip and for the most part the rooms are nice and comfortable. Casino can be a little on the smokey side.

Free (or Cheap) Fun:

FREE Circus Acts every half hour starting at 11:30AM-10:30PM Monday-Thursday. 11:30AM-11:30PM+ Friday-Sunday. Circus acts are located at the Center Stage of the Carnival Midway (towards the Las Vegas Blvd entrance).

Local Insider Tips:

Tip for the FREE Circus Show: Sit at the middle to the top of the stands for the Trapeze show and you won't have to tilt your head up as much. But note that circus acts change and switch up during the day and sometimes they have clowns, contortionists, feats of skill/strength, or juggling. There really isn't a bad seat. Check the weekly performance schedule before going so you'll know what show is up next. Enjoy with kids of all ages, but if you travel with younger kids, be expected to be dragged to the Carnival Midway arcade and carnival games after the Circus Show. The kids won't want to leave.

Tip for Hotel Reservations: The Manor Rooms are further away from the main casino and are older than the Tower rooms. Think older Vegas 2 story condos. Also the Manor Rooms are where tour groups often book blocks of rooms due to their lower prices. Circus Circus is really one of the best deals on the Strip, albeit on the Northern End. Not quite walking distance to anything for the time being. If and when Resorts World ever opens up, then things could get interesting around Circus Circus.

We recommend that you skip the buffet.
